People come to us during some of the hardest moments in their lives. I don’t take that lightly, and I’m proud to be part of a team working to help them move forward.
Biography
Kristy McMullen joined Jenner Law in November 2025, where she focuses on representing individuals and families who have been harmed by nursing home abuse and psychotherapy malpractice. She is passionate about standing up for vulnerable people and helping them find a path forward after deeply difficult experiences.
Kristy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Florida in 2020 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in 2025. From the outset of her legal career, she was driven to represent plaintiffs and provide a voice to those impacted by wrongdoing.
During law school, Kristy dedicated her time to working with underserved communities. She clerked for a Baltimore nonprofit that assists seniors with a wide range of legal issues, and she also worked at a firm focused exclusively on nursing home negligence. Those experiences helped shape both her skillset and her commitment to this work.
Kristy’s commitment to this work is deeply personal. Having witnessed the effects of nursing home negligence on a beloved family member, she brings both compassion and determination to her practice, working tirelessly to support her clients and their families.
Originally from Florida, Kristy relocated to Maryland in 2020 when her husband was stationed in St. Mary’s County. Outside of her practice, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their cat, Minerva. She is also a devoted football fan and enthusiastically supports the Florida State Seminoles and the Baltimore Ravens.
